Thermochromic Ink

Thermochromic Ink

Included Enhanced Guard & Ultimate Guard, Available on Vital Guard with additional fee

Thermochromic Ink changes color, gets lighter, or disappears when it is heated, either by touching it or blowing on it, then returns to it's normal state as the paper returns to room temperature.

COPY/VOID Pantograph

COPY/VOID Pantograph

All Configurations

A COPY/VOID pantograph is hidden word technology which involves placing a latent image in the design of a form that is not readily seen until a copy of the form is made.

Microprinting

Microprinting

All Configurations

Micro-printing is a security feature which is typically incorporated into a line/rule around a box or between sections. At first glance it looks like a regular line. Look closer and it’s the word “original” repeated in tiny print that blurs over if copied.

Chemical Sensitive Paper

Chemical Sensitive Paper

All Configurations

Chemical reactive paper prevents forgers from using a bleach or solvent to wash the ink from the surface of the document in order to alter the original data. Chemical reactive paper contains chemicals which turn the paper brown, blue, or black if an attempt is made to wash ink from the paper’s surface using bleach or other solvents.

Toner Adhesion Properties

Toner Adhesion Properties

All Configurations

When a document has been created or imprinted on a laser printer, there needs to be adequate adhesion of the toner to the paper. If not, a counterfeiter can lift the image off the paper with transparent tape or they can remove the image by scraping it off. A treatment is added to the surface of the paper to promote better toner adhesion so the image cannot be lifted from the surface of the paper.

Invisible Fluorescent Fibers

Invisible Fluorescent Fibers

All Configurations

Invisible fluorescent fibers are added to the security paper in manufacturing. The fibers are invisible under normal viewing conditions but a document containing them can be checked for authenticity by viewing the document under an ultraviolet (black) light. Invisible fluorescent fibers cannot be copied. The only way to include them in the document is to print on paper that has them included.

True Watermark Paper

True Watermark Paper

Enhanced Guard & Ultimate Guard

A true watermark is an image embedded in the paper during the paper making process. It creates a thinning of the paper that can be seen when held up to light. The use of true watermark paper minimizes the risk of copying of your document.

Artificial Watermark

Artificial Watermark

Vital Guard only

An artificial watermark is made by printing the image in opaque white ink, transparent ink or by using varnish. This will produce an image that is visible when viewed at an angle and is also referred to as ghost printing. It can be seen from one side only. The watermark is generally applied to the back side of the paper.

Full Bleed Borders

Full Bleed Warning Borders

All Configurations

We print your transcript paper with full bleed borders, making it much more difficult to fraudulently scan or copy and then print an altered document. White edges around the transcript document indicate that the document was copied. Most copiers and printers cannot print edge-to-edge on an entire sheet of paper.

Visible Fibers

Visible Fibers

Ultimate Guard only

Visible fibers are added to the paper during the paper manufacturing process duplication of the paper stock difficult. They are placed randomly on the paper, on both the front and back side. The blue fibers are of different densities and lengths and are easily seen.

Foil Hologram

Foil Hologram

Ultimate Guard only

An optically multidimensional (3D) foil seal is fused to the paper stock and cannot be reproduced by photocopy or scanning. This technology offers a very high level of document security that is also laser compatible.

Coin Reactive Ink

Coin Reactive Ink

Vital Guard only

A box is printed with the coin reactive ink which is white or transparent. Wen the edge of a coin is rubbed over the ink, black smudges appear showing that the document is authentic.
